Effective June 1, 2024, the use of certain standardized protective order forms promulgated by the Office of Court Administration (OCA), including this Application for Protective Order, is required. Tex. Fam. Code § 82.004; see also Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., ch. 1037, § 11 (S.B. 48), eff. June 18, 2023. This form is also accessible on the OCA Standardized Protective Order Forms page found at www.txcourts.gov/rules-forms/standardized-protective-order-forms. Practitioners are encouraged to review the OCA’s website for updates, additional instructions, and other relevant forms.
