Effective June 1, 2024, the use of certain standardized protective order forms promulgated by the Office of Court Administration (OCA), including this Protective Order, is required. Tex. Fam. Code § 85.0221(a); see also Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., ch. 1037, § 11 (S.B. 48), eff. June 18, 2023. This form is also accessible on the OCA Standardized Protective Order Forms page found at www.txcourts.gov/rules-forms/standardized-protective-order-forms. Practitioners are encouraged to review the OCA’s website for updates, additional instructions, and other relevant forms.
