This certificate is to be used by a corporation, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, or foreign filing entity to register an assumed name in the county records and secre­tary of state’s records. See the Assumed Business or Professional Name Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 71, particularly Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §§ 71.101–.104, for requirements of execution and filing.
